These illustrations were made for a revised version of PRAY’s God & Family program, a curriculum teaching grades 4–6 about family and Christianity. The program guides the students through constructing a pizza, with each layer being an analogy for the lesson. The previous version used a very flat vector style for the graphics, so to better match the age of the audience and tone of the book, I chose a more cartoony style with textured line work and to use anthropomorphism to make the parts of the pizza more engaging. NOTE: Since working on this project I have left the church.
